History repeats itself
Mon, August 17, 2009 at 8:49 PM The ministry of Zolon Zeh is vast wasteland of false prophecies and abuse. It is remarkable that a man with such a pathetic track record could persuade anyone to believe his doctrine. Here are a few facts concerning Zeh:
Zolon Zeh has been married twice. His first marriage was at about the age of 20 and did not last very long. He was divorced from his first wife and remarried at about the age of 27.
The doctrine espoused by Zeh is essentially that of William Sowders with a few modifications. It is primarily an “end time” doctrine that emphasizes the destruction of the earth by fire and the eminent return of Christ. It teaches that church members have no official voice in the church. All decisions are made by Zeh. No one is allowed to question the decision of Zeh because he is “anointed of God”. Trustees are mere figure-heads mimicking whatever Zeh says. There is no transparency or openness. Members are taught to be close-minded and to never question his authority.
Tom Jolly was Zeh’s teacher and mentor. When Jolly was accused of sexual misconduct in 1965, Zeh was a staunch ally. (See The Jolly Files on the links section of this website) Jolly’s sexual misconduct split his organization. Jolly was convicted years later on criminal charges of having sex with minors. Jolly excommunicated Zeh in 1975 and Zeh has been a loner ever since.
Although his congregation in Iuka numbered almost 150 at one time, it now numbers no more than 50.
